In continuation of my Despatch No 5 of the 30th ultimo, I have the honor
to forward copies of further correspondence which has passed between the Honorable Major General D'Aquilar and myself,
on the Subject of Quarters.
Your Lordship will see
that the Major General

has decided on directing that the rent of the House which has been taken
for
his residence shall be paid from Military Chest pending a reference to Her Majesty's Government, and it therefore only
remains
