recommend the case to the favorable consideration of His Excellency.
No 72 and 73 - These Robs were distributed by the Land Committee to Messrs 22 Jardine, Matheson & Co, in exchange for other Marine Lots, on which they had erected Buildings, and works were therefore in progress.
We submit that they be permitted to retain them, though they have not yet been improved.
We beg in conclusion to suggest that the amount of Ten (10) years rental should be inserted in the leases as the sum to be expended on the Premises by the Lessee, and that one (1) year's time should be allowed him for the purpose.
We have also drawn up and enclosed for His Excellency's approval, a list of the Fees to be taken at the Land Office on the granting of the Leases.
