We have the honor to report that in obedience to the instructions of His Excellency the Governor, We have twice met in Committee, for the consideration of the various points, adverted to in your letter (No. 134) to our address, under date 15th December, 1843.
We find, that the sale of the Marine Lots, gives an average, of the large annual Rent of nearly (£350) Three Hundred and Fifty Pounds per Acre; and looking to the fact, that this was the result of a Public Sale, and that the Purchasers were under the impression, that the time for which the Land was disposed of, was unlimited, We are of opinion, that all...
