that the Reverend Stanton has been appointed the Resident Chaplain to the Colony of Hong
Kong
and that he will
shortly proceed to that Island to assume his duties. The amount
of Salary thus assigned
to Mr. Rauton has not yet been fixed, but is left for consideration with reference
to the
general scale of Salaries which may be
decided
on for the
