within a reasonable time, into the Colonial Treasury, the amount of Deductions prescribed by the Superannuation Act
on the whole of the Emoluments received by them from the Public during the period in

Their Lordships
are of opinion with Lord Stanley that the Salary of the Governor or Superintendent of Trade may with propriety be fixed at Six Thousand Pounds per annum
As other considerations besides those of personal economy and convenience have to be respected in fixing the Residence of the Governor, My Lords
are of opinion that it will be necessary, according to the usual Practice, to fit a Government House on a moderate Scale at the Public Expence, and such Buildings as may be indispensable for the Transaction of the Business of the Public Offices, may be erected, either under the same roof in immediate connection with the Government House.
