I am directed by the Earl of Aberdeen to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 20th instant, in reply to Mr. Aldington's letter of the 8th instant, enclosing copies of despatches from the Plenipotentiaries respecting certain communications which he had had with M. de Commissary General Appiani, and I am to request that you will acquaint the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty that this Government will transmit to the Plenipotentiaries that part of your letter which applies to the subjects treated in his despatches.
With regard to the concluding suggestions of your letter, I am to state to you that as Lord Aberdeen conceives that the experience of a few months would not enable Kisenpotting...
