Chief Magistrates, Marine Magistrate and Harbour Master's, and Inspector of Land and Roads, Departments;
apprized of the

arrangement. I have been able, with the kind assistance
of Captain Sir Thomas Herbert, K.C.B, the Senior Naval Officer, to secure medical advice to those Establishments, and generally speaking, to persons residing
in, or
frequenting
the Settlement, who have hitherto been attended to by the Acting Colonial Surgeon. On those points it is only necessary for me, therefore, to request that the
Expenses which
I have sanctioned shall not be exceeded.
