for the better Govt of her Majesty's subjects resorting
to China.

since been
passed into an
Act (the 6th & 7th
Cap 30) by
which I transmit
a Copy for your information
as
relates to the
the Superintendents
over the British Trade;
as relates to the making
Regulations for that trade
and to the
subjects
British
in China, and
relates to the establish-
ment
of a
Court of Justice
In other words it repeals
the 6th Section of
the Act
1833. But it expressly
provides
that all things
done in pursuance of
the repealed Act before the
shall take effect shall
be as
valid
if
the later
Act had not been passed. The practical change
