In acknowledging the receipt of your Lordship's letter of the 28th of February (March) which I found awaiting me on my arrival here from Macao on the 1st instant, I have the honour to express my entire concurrence in your Lordship's suggestion and to request, that you will be so good as to instruct Major General Schoedde to have the necessary additions made to the Commissariat Buildings at Chusan.
