With reference to the wishes of Hm. Mts. Govt conveyed to you in my despatch W. 4 of this day, regarding the tenure on which individuals should be allowed to possess land in Hongkong, I have to state to you with reference to any portions of land which may have been granted to individuals previously to your receipt of this despatch, on terms inconsistent
