Treasury, - and as the amount has appeared in any public Account, I suggested, that the sum which had been transferred by Colonel Wilson to Mr. Commissary General Coffin's charge should be paid over to Mr. Stewart, the Treasurer and Financial Secretary to Government.

It appears from a Memorandum, of which I enclose a Copy that this can only be done with Your Lordship's Sanction, and with the object of preventing references and consequent delay hereafter, I have the honor to beg Your Lordship will – if you see no necessary objection - give the Order.
