In my Despatch, N° 21, of this date, I have acknowledged the receipt, amongst others, of Your Lordship's Despatch N: 1, "Military", of the 20th of July last. In reply to that Despatch, I have the honor to forward Copies of my Despatch N. 148, of that date, and it's Enclosures, to the address of the Earl of Aberdeen, by which Your Lordship will see, that neither I nor any of the former Public Agents now at this Place know anything.
