I do hereby certify that the Honorable Assistant A.R. Johnston Esqr and Superintendent &ca, has frequently consulted me since the month of April, for disease of the mucous membrane of the Stomach and Bowels, accompanied with ulceration of the mouth and of the coats of the stomach, - and that up to this time, little improvement has taken place in his health.

I do also certify that I have attended A. Johnston, as his Medical Attendant, for more than nine years,
