the Bay in front, and being open to the Valley of Wong-nei-chung behind, the extent of the ground, which would suffice for all the specified purposes, and its proximity to the Town of Victoria.
We have been led to understand that the above-mentioned site is still at the disposal of Government: If it shall be found that it is already disposed of, we would beg Your Excellency to refer the matter to the members of the Land-Committee with instructions to them to select, in communication with ourselves, such other site as may seem eligible for the purposes intended.
