M. steamer Tourane sailed on the 9th November, 1909:-- For Lyons.-285 bales`raw silk, For Marseilles,-285 bales raw silk, 27 cases feathers, 45 cases provisions, 2 cases silk goods, 15 bales hemp, 29 packages sundries. For Option.-500 bales waste silk, 22 cases hats, 10 cases ylang ylang. For Hamburg. -450 cases cassia, 40 packages human hair. For Rotterdam.

HONGKONG SHARE QUOTATIONS
HONGKONG, 12th November, 1909. The market shows no sign of improvement and rates.continue weak but with no great changes to report. The Rubber market has steadi-d, but business has been very restricted. Ex- change on London closes at 1/83 T/T, and on Shanghai at 743.
BANKS.-Hongkong and Shanghais remain unchanged and with no business to report. The London rate also remains at £91. Nationals continue at 65 nominal.
MARINE INSURANCES.—Unions have been on offer during the week at 847), but no sales have resulted; a small demand a 845, however, remains unsatisfied. North Chins have im proved in the North to 106 with buyers. Can'ons have found farther buyers at 1623. We have nothing further to report under this heading.
FIRE INSURANCES.-Chinas have changed hands at 114, but at the close there are no sellers under 115. Hongkongs rule steady at. 375, with no business to report.
SHIPPING - Hongkong, Canton and Macaos have declined to 30%, at which business has been done. Indes aro in request at 60, but no shares are forthcoming Shanghai quotės 45 Tls, sellers. A small pa cel of Star Ferrys (old) have b on placed, and a few more are wanted at 26,
h new issue, however, is obtainable a' quotation. Douglas and China and Manilas remain out of, favour and withont business.

DOCKS, WHARVES & GODOWNS Hongkong and Whampoa Docks have receded to 153 with sales and close with sellers at that rate. Kowloon Wharfs have also ruled rather weaker and sales have been reported at 624 and 62, closing with: sellers at the higher rate. baughai Docks after ruling staady for the early part of the week » Robinson Piano Co. 77 and 77%, bave receded in the North to 76. but buyers at the last named rate prevail at the close. Hongkew Wharfs have declined in the North to 134.
LANDS, HOTELS AND BUILDINGS.-Hong. kong Lands have changed hands at 104, and close with sellers at that rate. West Points are enquired for at 431, but shares are not available at the moment. Hote's remain steady at 75 and 431, and sales have been effect-d ́at those rates, the market closing with further buyers. Other stocks under this heading, sho no change.
COTTON MILLS.-Hongkongs Cottons have been the medium of a fair busin ss at 6. Ewo- have declined in the North to 140 and Soychees to 435, while Internationals and Lou Kung Mows have improved to 99 and 111 respectively. RUBBERS The market has been dull, bat. rates with few exceptions have ruled very steady and in some cases how important improve ments Shelfords have changed hands at 34/ | and 35, Castlefields at 51/6 and later at 5376. closing at 55/. Sungie Chobs at 44/6, Led: bury's at 42/6, 44/ and 45/, olesing w: h buyers Kuala Lumpurs have been placed at 93/ and c'ose at 95/. Sapongs at 2/ and Angle-Malay at 15/6, Pegobs at $24 and $25, and Balgownie at 69.
