The Persons who have already become Possessors of Marine Lots, are willing to assist in carrying out this plan, and to pay a proportion of the Expense. In some cases the quantity of land which, after deducting the fifty feet of roadway, would be considerable, in others, but small: but, I believe, in no one case, would the road encroach on lots already granted, and for whatever land they would gain, they would of course be charged at the same rate as the rest of their lots.
