MISCELLANEOUS.-Bells Asbestos have been booked at $10 and are wanted. There are buyers of Campbell Moores at the improved rate of $12, and of Dairy Form at $16, China Borneos have been done at $11.30 and are in further request.
Cement have sold at $8,90 closing with sellers. Ropes have been booked at $24, China providents at $91, and Union watert Boats at $10. There are sellers of Ices at the reduced rats of $155. Langkats after advancing to Tls. 1,100 close with sellers in the North at Tls. 1,040.

Messrs. J. P. Bisset & Co. in their Share Report for the week ending April 15th, state:-- Owing to the Easter Holidays we have only three days business to report during the week, but the volume of business done during these three days has been very considerable, more especially in Langkats. For particulars of stocks please see below. The T. T. rate on London to-day is 2/3}. In Banks and Insurance no business reported. Shipping Indos have ruled stronger and quota- tions opened on Wednesday at Tls. 48. 50 and 52 for cash, and for June at 50, 53, 54 and 541, The market dloses with sellers at 55 for cash and sales at 56 and 561 June. Shanghai Tugs. Ordinary shares have been placed at 'l'ls. 50), and are wan- ted for June at Tis. 53. Preference shares have been placed at Tls. 53. | Docks & Wharves.-Shang- hai Docks have been placed at Tls. 83, and are offer- ing for June at Tls. 481. Shanghai & Hongkew Wharves. Shares have been placed at Tls. 166 and 165 for June; to-day sales were effected for June at Tls. 166. Lands.-Shanghai Lands. Shares have been placed at Tls. 117, and are offering. Anglo- French Lands. Shares are offering at Tls. 101. Industrial.-Cotton Shares. Sales of Ewos at Tls. 116, and buyers for June at Tls. 118. Laou Kung Mows are offering at Tls. 111 cash and Tls. 113 June. Soy Chees are wanted at Tis. 410 cash and Tls. 425 June. Maatschappij &c. in Lang- Tls, 421, buyers | kats We have to report a very considerable rise in this stock. The market opened after the holi- days with sales at Ts. 8073 and 810 June. On Wednesday shares were placed at 8174, 815, 817, 820, 8221, 831 and 825 June. Cash quotation being Tls. 800. To-day we have to report a fur- ther rise. The market opened with a quotation of Tls. 850 for June, which was followed by buyers at Tls. 8521, 355, 857 and 860, and at these rates a very considerable number of shares changed hands. At closing we consider the market easier and shares are obtainable at the higher quotations. Shanghai Sumatras. Shares were placed at Tls. 135 cash, 135 June with sellers at this rate for September. Shanghai Waterworks were placed at Tls. 415. Miscellaneous.--Shanghai Horse Bazaars at Tls. 47 and 50. Telephones at Tls. Moutries are wanted at Tls. 40. In Deben- ture Stocks no business is reported.
