Bisset & Co. in their Share Report for the week ending April 7th, state:- There has been a fair market for a number of Stocks during the past week, Lut no very special charges excepting in Wharves, which show an upward tendency. Banks.-Hongkong and Shanghai Banks-Shares were placed early in the "week at $930. and the market has hardened and shares are now wanted at $945. The T. T. on London to-day is 2/3). Marine and Fire Insurance. - North-Chinas has been placed at Tls. 105. Yangtazes are steady with buyers at $225. Unions are wanted at $885. Shipping. Indo-Chings have been placed at Tls. 45 cash and Ts. 46 for June, and are wanted at these rates. Shanghai Togs have been placed a Tls, 504 ord. and pref. shares are offering at 'T's, 53 with buyers at Tla, 52). Docks and Wharves.-Shanghai Docks have been placed at T. 85 for cash and later at 84. The quotations remain at 84 nominal for cash and 86 for June nominal. Shanghai and Iongkew Wharves.
