previous Sales the named / According to the Copy of the notice handed by George / a fixed rate of £20 per acre Annually for Town Lots & £2 per acre Annually for Suburban Lots. But in the list of official notifications Town Lots, I observe that they were made at the rate of £20 per 11.025 feet which Accounts to about £80. per acre here.

With respect to the Lots alienated by Mr. Johnston the Conditions being the same, the same decision should of course apply to them as to those sold previously.

The duration of the leases for both classes should be shortened as abovementioned.

Under Captain Elliot's Survey Lots disposed of under Mr. Johnston's Announcement offer have been 75, Extending over about 18 acres, & the Suburban Lots to have been 17, extending over about 83 acres.

Mr. Gordon states in his report on the disposal of these Lots, you are at liberty to confirm or annul them. But observe, that the dispensation be made clear.
