Bisset & Co, in their Sharo Report for the week ending Match 3rd, state:- Our Market has been very steady during the week with an improvement in Shanghai Docks and Langkats, and all Cotton shares. Hong- kong and Shanghai Banks. No business reported, but owing to a rise of 22 in London, the mar ket has risen to $915 ex. div. The T. T. oà London to-day is 2/3. Marine and Fire In- surances.-North China Insurance Co. Business has again been done in this stock at Tis. 97) and the market is steady. Union Insurance of Canton. A small transaction took place in this stock at $820 at Hongkong Ex 74.78. Shipping. -Indo-Chinas are on offer at Tis. 474 without finding buyers. Shanghai Tugs. A fairly large business was done in the ordinary shares at Tls, 45 and preference shares changed hands at Tla. 50. Kochian Tugs. An operation was re- ported at Tls. 42} ex. div. Docks and Wharves. -Shanghai Dock and Eng. Co, Ltd. The mar- ket opened at Tls. 86 for cash and Tls, 80 for June, and gradually steadied fill at the close there were buyers for cash at T'is 90 and Tls. 91 for March and Tls. 94 for June without finding sellers.
