of Hong Kong. To have, hold, exercise

administer the said
Office during
Our Pleasure, with all
the Rights, Privileges, Profits, perquisites, and
advantages
belonging thereto. And
further in the event of
the death or
during the absence of Governor Commander in Chief of One said Soland of Hong Kong, now and for the time being, We do hereby
authorise and require
you to exercise and
perform all and
singular the power
and directions contained in Our
Commission to Our
Governor and Commander in Chief,
and such
Instructions as You
have already & such
further orders and
instructions as You
shall hereafter
receive from Us. And We do hereby command
all and singular Our Officers, Minister and Loving Subjects in Our said Colony, and all others whom
