SHARE REPORT, HONGKONG, 2nd August, 1907.-The week under review shows no improvement in either rats or business, the former if anything have been inclined to further weakness, and the la'ter, at the best, remaines in statu quɔ. The firmness of sterling exchange is still a consider- ́able factor in the non improvement of local stock", but not the only one, and although the return given by most stocks is enticing to investors, no any great marked improvement can reasonably be expected until general business improves, Exchange on London 2/2/1 demand, ou Shanghai 73 T/г.
