A Parsee firm of the Colony recently received telegraphie advies from their Bombay Agency that their merchant-representative in Pornis · had been mardered at Yezdesed, during the troubles incidental to the respective claims of the now Shah end of a nephew of the late Shab, to the Persian throne. The new Shah's telegram was in reply to enquiries about that regret'able incident. I don't think it is quite n-c-mary for the Parsees to cable their thanks under the circumstances.
