SHARE REPORTS, HONGKONG, 2nd March, 1906. – We have nothing of any importance to report. The dul- ness of the market has become even more accentuated, and rates generally have ruled weaker. The little business which has been transacted during the week has been of a very desultory nature and cannot be much relied on as a sure indication of the market. As a matter of fact, generally speaking, there is no market worthy of the name, and every transaction is made on its own bottom with but little respect for quoted rates.

BANKS. — Hongkong and Shanghais have ruled quiet at $860, ex div. and bonus of £2 15a paid on the 26th instant, Small sales are reported at that rate. The latest London quotation ex dividend is £91 10s. Nationals continue in demand and without sales at quota- tion,
