SHARE REPORTS. HONGKONG, 17th February, 1905.-Business generally still continues very dull, but on the whole rate are fairly wall maintained, and in somo instances clo e with a firmer tendency.

BANES.-Hongkong and Shanghais have improved to $725 with sales and further buyers. London has advanced to £77. 10s. Od. Nationals have declined to $36.

MARINE INSURANCES.-Unions continue on offer at $700 with small buyers at 86971. China Truders are firmor with sales at $59. Cantons have advanced to $2673 buyers. North Chinas and Yang tszes are unchangel.

FIRE INSURANCES.-Hongkongs have sold Docks, Etc.- at $40, $342 and $345, and close in further request at the latter rate. Chinas Lave so'd and are in demand at $93.

SHIPPING. Hongkong, Canton and Macaos have been booked at $26 and $264 cum dividend, and are now enquired for $26 ex dividend of $ per share for the second half of 1904 paid on the 15th instant. Iudo-Chinas after sales at $125 and $125) are in request at $126. Shang- hai quotes Tis. 91 buyers, and London £12 buyers. Douglases continue in request at $331, but at $34 shares are procurable, Shell Trans- ports have been booked at 22/-. There is no change in China and Mauilas or Douglases which are obtainable at quotations.

New Steam Laundries have advanced to $44 buyers, the old issue re- mains at $7 buyers.
