CHINA OVERLAND TRADE REPORT.
Messrs. J. P. Bisset & Co, of Shanghai, in their Share Report for the week ending 16th June, state:-A fair business has been transacted during MENO:-Messrs. A. S. Watson and Company, the past week, rates generally remaining steady. Limited, invite applications from registered Langkats rose from Tls. 312 to 317 June. This shareholders for the issue of 30,000 new : hares has been the only noticeable rise during the week, of $10 each at a premium of 10 per cent, or say
excepting in S. & H. Wharves, which rose from $11 per share, to be allowed to shareholders in
Tis. 150 cash to 157. The T. T. on London to- day is quoted 2/61 Banks.-H. & S. Banks.-No the proportion of one new share for every two
business reported, and rates are purely nominal at old shares held, applications to be sent in to the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation 603, the latest London quotation being 266.10s.- Fire Insurance.-No business reported. Shipping in Hongkong between the 28th and 30th Sep.Indos.-A cessation of buying in Hongkong, tember, 1904, both days inclusive. The full amount of $11 per share is payable on application.
