MISCELLANEOUS.- Green Island Cements are firmer again with buyers at $241. China Borneos are easi r with sellers at $101 Watsons have sold at $14) and more shares are procurable at this rate. Electrics (old) are wanted at $13 and (new) at $7. Ropes can be placed at the improved ate of $135. Bell's Asbestos have advanced to 44 buyers. Powells have been disposed of at the reduced rate of $9. Chinn Light and Powers have declined to $61 sellers.

Bisset & Co. in their report for this date state:-During the last week we have to chronicle an increasing tightness of money, which has acted adversely on our market. A further fall has taken place in Langkats, this stock being the most sensitive one, due to the difficulty of getting advances on it. MARINE INSURANCE.-The only local business reported is a sale of North Chinas at Tls. 2223. business reported. The amalgamated Company SHIPPING.—In Tug and Cargo Boats there is no
applications for their shares in the new Company. has issued notice to the Shareholders regarding Taku Tug and Libhter Co. shares, sellers at Tls. 50. DOCKS AND WHARVES.—S C. Farnham, Boyd and Co. On the 21st cash shares were sold at $186; On the 22nd at Tls. 185/1861 with sales at 187 for May and 190 for June.
