Local sales took place at $625, 620 and 625, the market closed steady, with sellers at last figure. INSURANCE.-Marine. No business is reported in these stocks. SHIPPING,-Indo- China S. N. Co. Cash shares were placed during the week at Tls. 108, 108.50, 109, 108, 107, 107.50; the market closes with buyers at Tls. 107 to 108 The following settlements are reported:-Tls. 111 and 109.50 for November, 112 for December, 112 for January; 115 and 116 for March. Shell Transport shares are offering. SUGARS, China sold at $150 for 31st inst. Bernks are quiet. MINING.- Raubs changed hands at $14. Chinese Engineer- ing and Mining shares took a quick rise to Tls. 11.20 for cash, but have since receded to sales and s llers at Tls. 10.8). Settlements took place for 31st inst., at 10.50 and for December at 1000 and 11.30. DOCKS, WHARVES AND GOpowns.-S. C. Farnham, Boyd and Co., L. Shang- hai Steam Laundry Co., Ltd. (In Liquidation), The Liquidator's Report and Statement of Account is published for presentation at an extraordinary meeting of shareholders called for 13th November. The land, buildings and machinery of the Company realised Tls. 10,685 nt auction. The Working Account showed a debit balance of Tls, 10,023,47, which was equalised by sundry loans made to the Company. These have now all been paid off and there is a net sum of Tls. 2,700 to he appropriated, as shareholders shall think fit. Montric and Co. shares me wanted. TUGS AND CARGO BOATS.-Shanghai Cargo Bonts were placed at Tls. 132.50 cash. 137.50 for February and 35 for November. Co-operative Cargo Boats sold at Tls. 1-k for January. Horse Bazaar changed bands at Tls. 100, Hall and Holtz, Lil An interim dividend of 82 is declared, payable on 24th inst. Shares sold at $36, but higher rates are now wanted. Central Stores were taken at $20 and 21 and are wanted. Astor House Hotel shares were purchased at $275 and 277.30.
