The market is again active in view of approaching announce- ment of year's result and dividend; cash sales are reported up to Tls. 98 and shares are in further demani; a closing settlement for 30th inst. fotched Tls. 100 and further settlements were made for September at 99, October 100 and 101. Shell Transport shares sold at £3 and are offering. SUGARS,—Chinas are wanted and Peraks are offering. MINING.-Raubs are offering at $24-23 locally. Punjoms are offering, Kaiping Mine market is casier and shares are obtainable at Tls 260-245. Business was done during week at 260, 250, 265, 260, 270 and 260 for casi and 300 for November. Docks, WHARVES & GODÓWNS, S. C. Farnham, Boyd and Co., Ld. Cash sales took place from Tls, 277.50 to 285, market closing steady with sellers at Tls. 282.50.
