SHORT RANGE CUP AND SPOONS.

There was a good attendance of shooting members at the opening competition for the Short Range Subscription Cup, for which Armourer Sergeant Blair secured the first win with a score of 91.

The "stauding” position at the 200 yards range accounts for the indifferent scoring at that range, all previous competiti ns at that range having been shot from "prone" position, but it needs only a few more shoots to see our best shots back in the "thirties."
