So far it looks fairly safe, ne minufacturers are so wel'in aged ahe.d, bwit go a anticipating the requirements of the trade for ordinary plai goods nine or ten month before hand, it is d ginning to vet risky, consilerin the many factors that rule this market and have to be reckoned with, such as Exchange, the Cot- ton crop and political complications, nor can the revision of the Tariff be very remote. In English gods all cases. of Skirtings, both Grey and White, continue to meet with considerable at tention from stock, foit or for much later arrival, there being als a moderate enquiry for T-Cloths and Sheetings. Fancy goods are being dealt in rither mr freely, but mostly for distant delivery, and Yarn and Woollen have not been without enquiry. The Yar market is quieter for all spinnings, but there is no chang⚫ in prices. Native Cutton is easier, from which it would appear that no damage has been done, to the new crop by the typhoon, but it is a little early yet to get advices exopt from the immediate neighbourhoodl.
