LANDS, HOTELS, AND BUILDINGS.-Hong- kong Lands after small sales at $781⁄2 and $79 olose quieter at the former rate. Hotels remain steady at $78 to $79, but without business. West Points have found small buyers at $28, and Humphreys Estates at $9.
COTTON MILLS.-Hongkongs have found buyers at $85 and close steady at that rate. In the absence of local business in the Shanghai Mills quotations are taken from the last Shang. hai circulars.

Docks, Wharves and Godowns.-Shanghai Engin-ering and Dock Preference shares changed hands at Tis. 101. Shanghai and Hongkew Wharf shares have been placed at Tls. 133 to 11s. 135. Lands.—Shanghai Land Investiuent shares are wanted at Tis. 80, but are held for higher rates. Industrial,-Major Brothers shares changed hands at Tls. 49) ex div.
