For some days now, says the Bangkok Times, it has been an open secret that M. Doumer would visit Siam for the purpose of returning. the visit recently paid him by Phya Sri-Sahad bep, conveying the assurance of the King of Siam's consideration and good will. It is now definitely known that the Governor General will reach Bangkok on the 7th April, and the best hopes are entertained on all sides as to the mutual benefit which will accrue to French Indo-China and Siam by this happy inter- change of courtesies.
