SHANGHAI, 25'h February.(From Messrs. Noel, Murray & Co.'s Piece Goods Trade Re- port.-Piece Goods.-The is only a comparative ly small business to 18port this week, the dealers being fully occupied arranging for shipment by the first Tientsin steamers. These are expected to leave on the 5th proximo, but although it is Raid upwards of 50,000 bales Piece goods and Yarn are ready for shipment they may be held back for a few days, shippers here contending that their correspondent in Tientsin will not be ready for them at such an early date. The diffi- culty in arranging finance may have something to do with bis desire to delay the despatch, as the Native Banks da not appear to have got into full swing yet. The advices received from Tientsin seem to be quite satisfactory; the market is bare of Stocks and particularly free from disturbing influences. As usual a large proportion of the shipments will consist of Ameri aan goods, considerable quantities of which have changed Lands during the week amongst the natives, some being resold by the Importers for their account at a good profit, and the market is being searched for more to take the place of a large cargo that will scarcely be here in time. Deliveries have also been heavy this week for Corea, two steamers having cleared with excep- tionally full cargoes. The tendency will be now to await advices of the Northern markets before further buying is indulged in to any extent. Some forward business has been done in goods bought to replace sales made in November and Dece:uber, chiefly 8.4-lbs. aud 12-lbe Shirtings and T-Cloths. Trile has not been properly resumed yet at Ningpo and the River Ports, which accounts in a great measure for the quietnos at the Auctions, there being van absence of orders form those markets. The market for China Coton in being rushed up by Native speculators who expect to force the Local Mills to buy at exorbitant prices, although not much more than a third of the crop has come. to market so far. From all aspoirances they are not likely to sa seed, as the In-lian staple is being freely bought at prices that lay it down here
