Noël, Murray & Co.'s Piece Goods Trade Report).— There is very little change to advise in market, business, in Manchester makes especial- ly, being considerably restricted by the decline in Exchange and the growing scarcity of supplies. Favour- able advices are also coming in from the River markets, but Ningpo is quiet. Advantage was taken of the Race holidays during the interval.to suspend one of the regular Auctions, but judging by the prices realised at. the Yuen-fong sale nothing was lost. Woollens are still dragging very much in spite of the small quantities offered, and privately there seems to be no enquiry what-
ever.
METALS, 9th May,-(From Messrs. Alex. -In Metals there have Bielfield & Co.'s Report):- been a few transactions as under, at fair prices, the most noticeable change being the rise in the price of Lead noted there.
