BANKS.-Hongkong and Shanghai Banks have continned to boom, chiefly in sympathy with a rapid rise in London from £33 10s. to £38 15s., and a fair number of shares have changed hands at various rates between 146 and 174 per cent. prem., market closing steady at latter rate Nationals have been dealt in in a somewhat large quantity at $21, and close steady at that.
