AAA muddle at

The moral of athletics' latest storm in a teacup-the resignation of a third national coach-is plain. The officials must settle their own differences, then devise a hard and fast system for the appointment of coaches for international teams. The outburst and the resigna- tion of Lionel Pugh need never have taken place at all,
