By D. E. GRAY

IT has often been said that the silvery tone of the harp, when used

sparingly. lends great charm and colour to an orchestral composition; but dat if excessive use is made of the instrument, its charm quickly wancs.

However, in the hands of an outstanding performer like Miss Mildred Dilling, who presented a full harp recital at Wah Yon College on Saturday evening, one forme a new conception of this instrument.

forms.
