ON SELECTIVE BUYING IN LONDON
London, Oct. 30. Small-scale selective buying pushed industrial stocks into the plus columns today when the market ignored the Russian bomb blast and hoped instead for an early bank rate cut.
The buying rush that recently per gilt-edged soaring subloed today and losses up to 1/10th were seaticred through the government bonds.
Lending oils rallied and were p to 1 shilling higher at the close.
