Ever heard the name Merlene, Garner before? I confess I hadn't until I open- ed a mysterious package from the US last week. In it was a single 45 rpm record featuring the voice of Miss Garner-a comparative newcomer to show business, but one whom Davco Records (for whom she is under contract) thinks has a great future.
