Berlin tension pulls down New York stocks

New York, Aug. 24. Tension over Berlin and the car industry wage negotiations re-

sulted in another stock market setback today. Popular market indicators showed deep losses at the final bell but volume contracted for the sixth consecutive session, indicating that the selling lacked urgency.
