Autumn Appetisers!
THE only thing wrong with London couture today is its terrible sense of timing. The London Autumn Collections fall a mere matter of days before the Paris dress shows, so many people consider them merely an hors d'oeuvre to globbe before the main French fashion feast.
But hors d'oeuvre is any main dish.
For designers Jo Maltli, Hardy Amics, and John Cavanagh have produced some mouth-watering appetisers.
For the first time in years these designers-so often tagged as "the gentlemen who make for the ladies" — are clothes absolutely with it.
