ing stage has been gradually pushed out of the world of art, and entertainment. Indeed, the screen has virtually eaten up the theatre and today, one can find professional com- panies mainly in the capital cities of the world.
There are many good reasons for the success of what is mere- ly the theatre 'eunned. Modern cinema is more easily portable, easily reproducable, is avaliable at a relatively lower price range and hence can offer relaxation to milions at the same time.
