Eino Oksonen, a Finnish policeman, won his second Boston marathon today when he beat out by seconds the record holder United State's Johnny Kelley, and third place, Britain's Fred Norton. Despite the spectacular finish, Oksanen failed to break Kelley's record for the 26 mile race. The Finn was clocked at 2 hours 23 minutes 29 seconds, the American school teacher's re- cord is 2 hours 20 minutes 5 seconds set in
1957.
Today Kelley came in about 89 fret behind Oksanen and was thned at 25 seconds behind the Flan at 2 hours 23 minutes 54 seconds. Neris in third pleen 2 hours 20 was clocked at minutes 46 Reconds.
