Some thoughts on the selection of Colony soccer teams

The honour of being selected to wear representative colours in sport is surely an acknowledgement that an individual is currently top of his class.

It is not, and never should be a cursory reward for long service whether that service has been outstanding or ordinary. and it should never be a sort of backslap given in the 'well done my good and faithful servant' style.
