Laos situation
The procarious situation in Laos brought
a decline in most sections in the Hongkong Stock Market this week, However, the volume of business, was pretty good,
indicating a firm undertone in the market.
An adverse political situation would normally have a depress- ing effect on the local market, but this has not been the case here because there appears to a large amount of money in circulation. Thu Hongkong reonomy is sound.
