Unanimous verdict in murder trial
Lau Sang, 24-year-old farmer from the New Territories, charged with the murder of his neighbour, was this afternoon found not guilty by a jury of four men and three women and was discharged at the Criminal Session.
The jury retired at 11.20 am after the trial judge, Mr Justice R. H. Mills-Owens summed up the case to them, and returned at 12.45 pm to re- turn the unanimous verdict of not guilty.
