Winning bouquets in the annual exposition sponsored by this society in Paris last month sug- gested that light and airy "country style" arrange ments are popular now in contrast to the heavily massed and formal 18th century effects of last year. Like fashions, flower compositions can become out- dated. What appeared lovely last summer may today seem stiff and fussy.
