London market closes with small losses

London, July 14.

Stocks moved irregularly lower today in an un-

settled market.

The steam went out from a trickle of morning buying and the disappointing British trade figures for June kept late buyers (on the sidelines.

Industrial blue chips shared a sprinkling of minus signs al- though losses were in fractions, Steels and engineerings tended to drift downside and stores were ancertain. Bright spots were confined to companies an- jnouncing good trading results.
