The Press outcry against the present unsatisfactory state of English football continues with undiminished venom. would be easy to imagine that this was a chip-on-the- shoulder' campaign being waged by disgruntled Pressmen but the more one wanders about the country-and I have already had the chance to visit many different places-the more it becomes evident that the feeling of disappointment stretches far beyond the columns of the sports pages of the national press.
